Education and Approach to Care
Dr. Lorraine Tomlinson earned her dental degree at the Howard University College of Dentistry—the same school her mother, Dr. Angella Tomlinson, graduated from decades earlier—and then returned to her Tampa roots to practice in the city she grew up in.
Patients know her as “Dr. L.” She provides general and family dentistry, with an emphasis on listening, clear explanations, and helping patients feel comfortable.
Dr. L grew up around the practice before joining the team. Today, she continues the personal approach to patient care that she learned from her mother.

Practicing Alongside Her Mother
Dr. Lorraine practices alongside her mother, Dr. Angella Tomlinson, who founded the practice, and Dr. Gail McDonald-Chang, who joined in 1996. Both mother and daughter earned their dental degrees at Howard University.
