What is ClearCorrect?
ClearCorrect uses a planned series of removable aligners to move teeth. It can address selected alignment and bite concerns, but the suitability of treatment depends on an examination, dental health, and the movements needed.
At Tomlinson Dental, we use digital records to plan care and check progress at appointments. Tell us what you want to change and what matters in your daily routine. An aligner plan should fit both the clinical need and your ability to wear the trays.

From assessment to retainers
Examine and plan
We assess the teeth, gums, and bite and discuss what can be achieved. Any dental disease needs attention as part of planning.
Record and prepare
A digital scan helps plan the sequence. Some cases need attachments or small amounts of enamel reshaping between teeth; these are discussed before treatment.
Wear and review
Follow the prescribed sequence and attend progress visits. Contact us if a tray is lost, damaged, or no longer fits rather than skipping ahead.
Finish and retain
The final position and bite are reviewed. Retainers help maintain the result; ask what ongoing wear and replacement arrangements are needed.

What affects ClearCorrect costs?
The movements required, treatment complexity, and any additional aligners affect the plan. Ask whether refinements, retainers, and replacement trays are included.
If you have orthodontic benefits, ask your insurer about age restrictions, waiting periods, and lifetime limits. Do not assume ordinary dental coverage includes orthodontic treatment.
Payment and dental benefits
We accept cash and cards. Third-party financing is available, subject to approval.
Although we are not contracted with any dental insurance company, we gladly help submit claims so your provider can reimburse you directly. Payment is due in full at the time of service; we do not provide insurance estimates.

Is an aligner plan right for me?
Crowding, gaps, and teeth that have shifted after earlier orthodontic treatment are reasons to seek an assessment. They do not establish candidacy on their own. Gum health, existing restorations, and the relationship between the jaws also matter.
Ask about the intended bite as well as the appearance. A digital preview helps explain a plan but does not guarantee the final result. Tell us if consistent daily wear would be difficult so this can be considered before you commit.

Living with aligners
Wear and cleaning
ClearCorrect’s instructions call for at least 22 hours of wear daily. Remove trays for food and drinks other than cool water. Follow the cleaning instructions and keep trays away from heat.
Changes to report
New trays can cause temporary pressure. Tell us about persistent pain, poor fit, or a damaged tray or attachment. We can assess the problem and advise on the next step.

Attachments are small bonded shapes that help the aligner move selected teeth. IPR is controlled reduction of enamel between teeth to create space. Neither is needed in every case; ask what your plan includes.

No. An implant does not move like a natural tooth. Existing implants and other restorations need to be considered in the plan.
